North Carolina Tar Heels have secured a late-summer recruiting victory, flipping three-star cornerback Nazir Pitchford from Kansas.
The Tar Heels' recruiting class now has 15 verbal pledges, including a second cornerback in Pitchford.
Pitchford, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back from Palmetto High School in Florida, announced his commitment to the Tar Heels on Monday.
He had previously committed to Kansas State in February, then decommitted after a May 2 visit to UCF.
